Mesa Verde National Park provides a rare opportunity to walk, quite literally, along the footpaths of the ancients. The park preserves thousands of archaeological sites, including hundreds of cliff dwellings. We visited this southwest Colorado park during summer 2016 and were absolutely mesmerized.

I was shooting with only an iPhone during this trip so the photo quality is not the same as what I would produce today, but I hope you still enjoy these sights.
