Arches National Park is an experience that defies description. The park sights are simply beyond words. The best description that I could conjure after my autumn 2015 visit is that it was like visiting another planet. I know that sounds cliche, but it is true.

The entire Moab, Utah area is amazing with seemingly endless, mind-blowing scenery. While I have only visited Arches National Park once in 2015, I did return to Moab last fall (2017) and spent nearly a month camping in the area. I never ran out of incredible things to see during that month.

Arches National Park is very busy, particularly during peak season (March – October). Visiting during the off-season will likely provide a better experience as traffic congestion is a real issue during the busy months.
