Arches National Park (2015)

Arches National Park is an experience that defies description. The park sights are simply beyond words. The best description that I could conjure after my autumn 2015 visit is that it was like visiting another planet. I know that sounds cliche, but it is true.

The entire Moab, Utah area is amazing with seemingly endless, mind-blowing scenery. While I have only visited Arches National Park once in 2015, I did return to Moab last fall (2017) and spent nearly a month camping in the area. I never ran out of incredible things to see during that month.

Arches is a busy national park, particularly during peak season (March – October). Visiting during the off-season will likely provide a better experience as traffic congestion is a real issue during the busy months.

Thank you! I am hoping to return this year when I have more time. I was pretty much passing through this time and was exploring between thunderstorms. We were in Moab again last fall, but didn’t make it to Arches. So many incredible sights in that area.
